At Cous Cous Fest there’s the chance to taste great cous cous, not only during Cous Cous Challenges, but also during the cooking shows of selected chefs, when the public can try peculiar recipes and discover the huge variety of cous cous.
More than thirty cous cous recipes are served every day from 12:00 PM to midnight at Cous Cous Houses, the tasting corners throughout the streets of San Vito. Meat, fish, vegetables, exotic and gluten free variations, in Cous Cous Fest’s menu there’s a place for every taste, extravagant or traditional, the choice is yours!
The ticket for tasting is 10€, available at ticket offices and includes a plate of cous cous, a drink or a glass of wine and a traditional Sicilian dessert.
Famous chefs cook their recipes and the public can taste the plate accompanied with excellent Sicilian wines, all served at the table for a unique moment of pleasure. Every chef will share tips and tricks for cooking and will enchant the participants with his culinary mastery.
Among this year’s protagonists there are Michelin starred-chefs Claudio Sadler and Giancarlo Morelli; and also Sonia Peronaci, food blogger, chef and TV-host. Andy Luotto, Italian-American actor and chef, will present a special cous cous recipe and Filippo La Mantia will teach how to make cous cous from scratch. In San Vito Lo Capo there will be also Giorgione, from Italian tv-show Giorgione Orto e Cucina.
The ticket for each Cooking Show is 10€ and is available at PalaBia’s ticket office. Seats are limited.
